The Xiaomi Redmi Pad has been released in India. The first tablet from Redmi has an initial pricing of Rs. 12999 for the base 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The tablet is available in three models, all of which will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, October 5, 2022, on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Flipkart, and all of our retail partners. If you want to acquire the top-end model (6GB RAM + 128GB storage), it will be available exclusively on Mi.com starting at 10 a.m. on October 5, 2022.

The Redmi Pad is aimed at gamers, multitaskers, movie enthusiasts, and anyone who consumes a lot of stuff on the internet. The Redmi Pad has a 90hz screen refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, an 8000mAh battery, 18W fast charging capabilities, and other features.
Redmi Pad Price In India, Availability
The Redmi Pad is available in three sizes:
- The base 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model is available at Rs. 12999 at launch.
- The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model will be available for Rs. 14999 at launch.
- The Redmi Pad’s top-end variant has an introductory price of Rs. 19,999.
The tablet is available in three different colours: graphite grey, moonlight silver, and mint green. The Redmi tablet will be available on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Flipkart, and all of our retail partners starting tomorrow. As part of the launch promotion, the firm has teamed with Bank of Baroda to provide an additional bank discount of up to 10 per cent only on mi.com.

Redmi Pad Specifications
For the first time on a tablet in this price range, the Redmi Pad features a 10.61-inch display with support for 90hz screen refresh rate. Widevine L1 certification is also supported by the tablet. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
MediaTek Helio G99 CPU powers the tablet and can accommodate 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also support for expanded storage up to 1TB. It also has dual bank WiFi 5 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, dual microphones, third-party pen support, and a built-in document speaker.
The tablet ships with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. The Redmi Pad includes a number of handy features like as Split Screen, Floating Windows, Multi-Window support, Reading Mode, and others. Redmi has verified three years of security upgrades, two versions of Android, and MIUI updates for the tablet. The Redmi Pad also includes two months of free YouTube Premium.
An 8000mAh battery powers the Redmi Pad that supports 18W rapid charging. A 22.5W quick charger comes in the box. According to the manufacturer, the tablet can provide 21+ hours of video playing, 12+ hours of gaming, and 8+ days of music playback.
