The Apple Event “Peek Performace” on March 8, 2022, is the company’s first event of the year. Tim Cook announced the launch of the Mac Studio and the Apple Studio Display devices. There have been several speculations regarding the launch, and it seems to have finally come true. Mac Studio Key Specs
The Mac Studio is Apple’s top of the line offering, and its features are sure to leave everyone amazed! But, first, let us look at the specifications and parts of the device.
The Mac Studio is smaller compared to the older Mac Pro, and it looks like a tall Mac mini. Made from aluminium, it features the iconic Apple logo on top and has USB Type-C or Thunderbolt ports and an SDXC card slot on the front. In addition, it comes with a wide variety of ports at the back, including 10Gb Ethernet, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, two USB-A ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It has a height of 94mm and a width of 195mm. The Mac Studio comes in two flavours – one with the M1 Max processor and the other with the M1 Ultra processor. Both devices’ RAM and internal memory can be configured according to the user’s needs. Besides Mac Studio features, it also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity options.

Mac Studio Price, Availability
The Mac Studio will be available at USD 1999 (approx. INR 153775) in the United States. This is the base version with an M1 Max processor, 32GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. The Mac Studio with M1 Ultra, 64GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD start at USD 3999 (approx. INR 307625).
The Indian website starts at INR 189900 and INR 389900, respectively, and it can go as high as INR 835700 for the top-end configuration. It is available for pre-order now and will be on live sale starting March 18, 2022. Shipping usually takes a few weeks after order confirmation.

Apple Studio Display Specs
The Apple Studio Display features a 27-inch size with a 5K resolution with 600nits of brightness. In addition, the True Tone feature adjusts the display colour based on ambient conditions. The latest announcement at the Apple Event claimed that the Studio Display panel could deliver actual 10-bit colour and super-wide viewing angles.
The A13 processor in it can handle some processes without using any external resources. The 12-MP ultra-wide camera comes with Center Stage to reframe video calls to focus on the person in the frame.

It comes with a three-mic array and high-fidelity six-speaker system that can give clear sound, including spatial audio for music and video with Dolby Atmos. In addition, the tilt-and-height adjustable arm and VESA mount option further increase accessibility.
The Studio Display comes with three 10Gbps USB Type-C ports and one Thunderbolt port to connect to all peripherals and can also charge any Mac notebook at up to 96W. It also has a nano-texture glass option to reduce reflections. In addition, it can work with Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad that come in matching colours.
Apple Studio Display Price, Availability
The Apple Studio Display will be available at a starting price USD 1599 (approx. INR 123036) in the United States. This is the cost for the Studio Display with standard glass. The one with nano-texture glass is listed at USD 1899 (approx. INR 146120).
