Garmin has launched a new line of Instinct 2 smartwatches in India. For Instinct 2, there are six new variants, including the Camo Edition, Instinct 2, the Instinct 2S, and the Instinct 2S Solar. The Solar Edition watches include a solar panel that provides long-lasting battery life.
According to Garmin, the Solar-Edition gadgets may provide ‘infinite battery life’ when used as smartwatches. SpO2, heart rate, VO2 Max and sleep monitors are also there in the list of additional features

Details and features of the Garmin Instinct 2
The Camo version of the Garmin Instinct 2 has a Graphene construction, while the Tactical model is available in Black and Coyote. In addition, there are two distinct dial sizes for the Instinct 2 and 2S: the Instinct 2’s round 45 mm dial and the Instinct 2S’s circular 40 mm. Instinct 2 and Instinct 2S are also available in Solar-specific versions if you like.

Long-lasting batteries are now the primary selling point for Solar models. With the Garmin Instinct 2 Solar versions, the company claims that these devices can operate in their smartwatch mode for an endless amount of time. “All battery life figures assume 3 hours per day outdoors in 50,000 lux settings,” states the small print.
The non-solar variants, on the other hand, are supposed to have a battery life of four weeks. HIIT, Daily Suggested Workouts, Training Status/Load/Effect, Recovery Time, and Fitness Age are just a few of the fitness elements you’ll find on the app. It may also track VO2 Max, Pulse Ox, stress, sleep score, body battery, and women’s menstrual cycle and pregnancy.

Sharing your numbers with loved ones and accountability partners, as well as alerting them in the event of an emergency known as Incident Detection, is another noteworthy option. In addition, apps, widgets, and watch faces may be downloaded and used to personalise your displays. 810 Military standard tests and water resistance up to 100 metres have been used to certify the watches’ shock and temperature resistance.
