Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 India Launch Teased for August 20

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 have now been officially teased to launch in India on August 20. Moreover, Samsung will be collaborating with popular Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt for the launch of the devices. The date was teased by the company via an interaction with the actress on Twitter. Although nothing has been specifically revealed, this just might be it. The company took to their official Twitter handle to tease the India launch date of the upcoming flagship foldables.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 Price in India (Expected)

Both the flagship devices have recently been launched on August 11. However, the devices are yet to come to India but we can make an estimate about the pricing of the devices in the country. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 price starts at $1,799.99. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 1,33,600 in the Indian market and we can see the device priced similarly in India. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 price starts at $999.99 which is roughly Rs. 74,200 in the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 Specifications

Now, let us take a quick look at the specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. On the processor front, both the smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. When it comes to the display, both the flagship devices come with 120Hz refresh rate panels.

Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. In addition, the primary sensor comes with OIS as well. There are two other 12-megapixel sensors in the setup for ultra-wide-angle and telephoto shots, respectively. Moreover, these two sensors come with OIS support as well. At the front, the flagship foldable device sports a 10-megapixel selfie sensor on its cover. There is also a 4-megapixel under-display camera on the phone’s inner display.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 12-meagpixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there is also another 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with OIS support. At the front, the flagship flip phone will come with a 10-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. Both the foldable flagship devices also come with IPX8 water-resistant ratings.
