Realme is gearing up to launch its first laptop Realme Book Slim on August 18, 2021, alongside the Realme GT series. In a recent teaser, the company revealed some of the key specs and features of its upcoming laptop in India. However, this is not the only leak we have heard of so far. Just earlier today, the company confirmed a new feature similar to Microsoft Your Phone – PC Connect.

Realme Book Slim to feature Thunderbolt 4 port
To the uninitiated, Thunderbolt 4 ports can handle data transfers up to 40Gbps and fast charging up to 100W. It also supports output up to two 4K displays or one 8K screen. Moreover, it is also a convenient workaround for laptops that have fewer ports. Especially to continue to offer exhaustive connectivity without the space implications.

According to the teaser image above, the Realme Book Slim laptop will have a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port. It is possibly making it one of the cheapest laptops with Thunderbolt support. We are expecting it to launch under Rs 50,000 in India. It could well be among the few laptops in the price range to feature Thunderbolt 4 ports.
According to the teaser, Realme Book Slim will come with a USB Type-C Gen 3.2 gen 2 port, a USB-A 3.1 port and a 3.5mm jack. The teaser poster reveals that only the i5 variant will come with a Thunderbolt 4 port. The i3 variant could feature two USB Type-C Gen 3.2 ports instead.

Meanwhile, the company has also confirmed that the laptop will come with up to a 16GB + 512GB storage configuration and weigh 1.38 kg. Realme Book Slim will sport a 14-inch LED display. It is confirmed to come with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 2K resolution. In addition, the speakers will be tuned by Harmon Kardon.
