Samsung S24 Ultra Processor Leak

A new leak suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The phone will ship with this chipset in all markets. This is unlike the previous Samsung flagships, which shipped with different processors depending on the region. Furthermore, the report says that Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy S24+ could sport the Exynos 2400 in select markets. This contradicts a previous leak, which claimed that the entire S24 lineup would ship with Exynos 2400 in the EU.

The Exynos 2400 will have a clock speed of 3.16GHz,2.9GHz,2.6GHz and 1.95GHz on the S24 and S24+. The S24+ is also rumoured to have a 6.7-inch QWHD+AMOLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. Furthermore, all three phones in the lineup will have a peak brightness of 2500 nits. Samsung could switch to a LTPO+ panel on the S24 and S24+, although they won’t be as good as the Ultra.

This means the S24 will be the only phone in the series to still ship with a Full-HD resolution. The company also plans to release the S24 Ultra with a 2TB storage variant. The base variant of the device will have 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while another variant will offer 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The S24 Ultra will also be the first Samsung flagship in recent years to have a flat display instead of a curved one. The device will also have thicker bezels and be slightly wider than its predecessor. Additionally, it will have a new 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and faster 65W charging to differentiate it from the rest of the lineup. The phone won’t be released until February 2024, which leaves a long window open for new leaks, rumours and details to emerge.
