Ahead of the official launch, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 5G has been spotted on benchmarking site- Geekbench, revealing some key specifications. The highly anticipated handset is most likely to make its grand debut early next year, following the success of the Galaxy S23 series.
Moreover, the upcoming S-series flagship smartphone is tipped to come in two variants. One powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. And the other powered by an in-house Exynos chip from the South Korean company.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus: Specifications
Geekbench listing for a smartphone with the model number SM-S926U surfaced online on Monday. The smartphone is assumed to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 5G. The listing also reveals that a chipset codenamed pineapple will power the device. This remarkable chip features a unique cluster setup, setting it apart from Qualcomm’s current-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship SoC.
Moreover, the chipset comes with a prime Cortex-X4 core, that has a clock speed of 3.30GHz. Along with three Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.96GHz. And two Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 2.27GHz. Furthermore, with a massive 8GB of memory and Android 14 right out-of-the-box, the upcoming handset is set to offer an exceptional user experience.
Performance
As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming handset has a score of 2,231 points and 6,661 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. This hints that the maximum performance improvement will be 20 per cent (multi-core performance) over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Moreover, sources suggest that the chipset will come with an Adreno 750 GPU. That promises a 50 per cent performance boost over the Adreno 740.
It is important to note that as per previous reports, Samsung will be offering the Galaxy S24 series with Snapdragon chips in the US.
