The leak reveals that the smartphone’s main camera will feature the ISOCELL HP2 sensor instead of the ISOCELL HM3 sensor. Furthermore, the leak suggests that its 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera will use the Sony IMX564 sensor instead of the IMX563 sensor. The screenshot shared by the tipster confirms a decrease in total megapixels for the selfie camera, as well as a new, mysterious ISOCELL sensor. Comparing to last year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G‘s 40-megapixel ISOCELL Slim GH1 front camera. The upcoming S23 Ultra model will feature a 12-megapixel sensor for the front camera.
While it may seem like a downgrade, the S23 Ultra’s new sensor may reduce the need for pixel binning, resulting in better resolution for end photos. Moving on to the specifications, the handset may feature a 6.8-inch QHD Plus curved AMOLED display. Along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will come with a quad rear camera unit and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Moreover, it may offer a 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. Lastly, the handset may be available in an attractive Botanic Green colour option.
