Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S22 series. The company will launch the Samsung S22, Samsung S22 Plus and the Samsung S22 Ultra at its Unpacked event. Samsung’s upcoming flagship models will be unveiled on February 9, 2022. Ahead of the launch, a lot about the devices, especially the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, has leaked online.
The latest leak comes from tipster Evan Blass (@EvLeaks on Twitter), who has leaked the marketing material of the S22 Ultra. The images, shared via Blass’ substack, confirm the key features of the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Leaks
The phone has a curved screen upfront. It has a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The screen has a QHD+ resolution and will support a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung’s top-end S22 series phone will also come with 1750 nits bright display with HDR10+ certification. Moreover, the images reveal the Phantom Green colour of the device. It will measure 163.3×77.9×8.9mm.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 4nm Exynos 2200 SoC. Select regions will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC-powered variant as well. One can also expect the device to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Moreover, the phone also comes with Samsung’s S Pen.

Whereas, on the back, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad-camera setup. It has a 108-megapixel SuperClear Lens with an f/1.8 aperture. The camera setup is completed with two 10-megapixel telephoto camera sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom.
For selfies, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 40-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Moreover, the Galaxy S22 Ultra India launch is expected to take place around the same time as the global launch.
