Samsung Galaxy M42 specifications have surfaced online on various sites. This device is now surfacing on Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG listing. However, the latter’s listing indicates that M42 can launch as a rebranded Galaxy A42 5G model in a few markets. Additionally, it also confirms that the phone may be the first in the Galaxy M series to support 5G connectivity.

On the other hand, the Wi-Fi Alliance listing of the Samsung Galaxy M42 reveals some details of the device. It reveals that the phone will run on Android 11 and support dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz). It listing mentions it can support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity as well. Apart from this, the listing reveals nothing. However, it just hints that the Galaxy M42 is a work in progress and may launch in the near future.

Whereas, the Bluetooth listing also mentions the same model number as before, SM-M426B/DS. However, it’s listing with a different name – Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. It hints that it can launch as the Samsung Galaxy M42 in a few markets. Moreover, it means that the Galaxy M42 may support 5G connectivity, the first in the Galaxy M range to do so. The Bluetooth SIG listing tips Bluetooth version 5.0 support as well.

On the other hand, there are reports of it surfacing on on several certification sites, including BIS. This is hinting that the Samsung Galaxy M42 may launch in India as well. It is tipped to pack a large 6,000mAh battery and comes with 128GB of onboard storage. The new Galaxy M42 smartphone can also come with a 64-MP primary camera.
