Samsung is seemingly gearing up to launch their cheapest 5G device yet, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G. The device has recently been making rounds of the rumour spectrum a lot. It will most likely be launching as a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A12 which was launched earlier this year.
The cheapest 5G phone by Samsung will be coming with the model number SM-A136B. According to a report by the Galaxy Club, this particular 5G device will be coming with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor. Moreover, it will be Samsung’s very own ISOCELL JN1 sensor. The budget sensor is already used by the Xiaomi Redmi 10. According to the report, the device will also pack a 5000mAh battery like its predecessor. We can actually expect to see a lot of similarities between the two devices.

Further, the device is expected to be priced at 200 Euros, which is around Rs. 17,000 in the Indian market. This indeed makes it the cheapest 5G smartphone by the South Korean giant. Samsung’s Galaxy A series of devices have been one of the most sought after budget series of devices in India. With the addition of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G, things will definitely get difficult for its competitors in the price segment. Taking things back a bit, let us take a quick look at what the Galaxy A12 came with.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Specifications
Starting off with the display, the device comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V PLS TFT display. In addition, the display also comes with a water-drop style notch design at the front. When it comes to the software, the device runs on the Android 11 OS with the OneUI custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the Samsung Galaxy A12 will be powered by the company’s very own Exynos 850 chipset. Further, the octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, the internal storage on the device is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
For photos and videos, the smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. In addition, there are two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth shots, respectively.

When it comes to the battery, the Samsung Galaxy A12 packs a big 5000mAh battery. The battery capacity pairs up with 15W fast charging support. The smartphone also packs all the essential connectivity options. These include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
