The original Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne was out in the market by Rockstar Games. Founder of Rockstar Games Sam Houser remarked, “We were excited when our long-time colleagues at Remedy contacted us about replicating the classic Max Payne games”. As one user put it, “We are huge admirers of the Remedy team’s work throughout the years”. “Also, we can’t wait to watch these updated versions.”
With its own Northlight engine, Remedy will create a single game for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One XS. Rockstar Games will match Remedy’s AAA budgets for this project regarding funding.
