Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has received a lot of attention recently, with the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro in January 26, 2022, followed by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in March 9, 2022. Rumours about the new Xiaomi 12 Pro series began to circulate just a few weeks after the Redmi Note 11 series was out in the market. The rumoring flagship was found on the TENAA certification website, and critical specifications such as model number, battery information, and display features.

While the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not revealed any details about the expected series’ release date, the TENAA listing suggests it will be available in China. The information is suggesting on TENAA listings was available via screenshots by Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station.
The Redmi series with model number 22041216C is to be the 12 Pro, while model number 22041216UC is thought to be the Redmi 12 Pro+. Both devices have similar dimensions and display sizes, according to the listing.

Specifications (Expected)
Redmi 12 Pro series is to have a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both models expects to ship with Android 12 OS pre-installed, with MIUI 13 on top. Both models are expecting to have dimensions of 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.8mm.
Redmi 12 Pro model has a 4,980mAh battery that may support fast charging. This could be comparable to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, which has 120W fast charging. The model will be available in two storage configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage.
The Redmi 12 Pro+ expects to have a similar storage configuration. However, the battery expects to be smaller than that of the Redmi 12 Pro, which has a 4,300mAh capacity.
The Listed Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series expects to outperform its predecessors, which may also indicate the use of a MediaTek processor rather than a Qualcomm processor. It is unknown whether Xiaomi will use the Dimensity 1300 or Dimensity 8000 SoC in the upcoming Redmi Note 12 models.

TENAA listings have not said about all details about the upcoming flagship, it expects to be out in China. The Redmi Note 12 series could make its debut in India in Realme Q3. The TENAA listings reveal nothing about the upcoming flagship’s pricing. Redmi’s most recent Note offering, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, is available above Rs. 20,000.
The new 12 Pro expects to cost between Rs.1 5,000 and Rs. 18,000, while the Redmi 12 Pro+ expects to cost around Rs. 23,000. With the company’s announcement of its launch in China, more price confirmation expects soon.
