The Redmi Note 10S could soon get a new Starlight Purple colour option in India. Xiaomi has teased it with new teasers on Redmi India’s official Twitter account. Last month, the Starlight Purple colour variant was launched to the Redmi Note 10 series in Malaysia. It was only available in the country in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, which is also expected to be the case with the India launch. The Redmi Note 10S, which was launched in May, is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC.

The upcoming Starlight Purple colour option of the Redmi Note 10S was purportedly teased in a video posted on August 16 by Redmi India’s official Twitter account titled “Paint The Town Purple.” The company also shared a camera sample with the caption “The sky is Purple?” as well as a Redmi Note 10S hashtag. The teasers, on the other hand, do not reveal the specific date of the release.
The Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple colour was officially announced in Malaysia on July 30 and is priced at MYR 899. (roughly Rs. 15,700). The smartphone was launched in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, with sales beginning on August 3. The new colour option may also be available in India in the same configuration, which means it will be more expensive than the phone’s 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which retails in India for Rs. 15,999.

Redmi Note 10S Specifications
The Redmi smartphone is powered by Android 11 with the MIUI 12.5 skin on top. It has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Redmi Note 10S is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It has 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage (current colour options). It sports a quad back camera array that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. The phone includes a 13-megapixel selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout on the top of the display. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology.
