Redmi has officially teased their K50 series of smartphones recently. The upcoming Redmi K50 series will launch as a successor to the Redmi K40 series of smartphones. The K40 series was launched earlier this year and had the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro Plus and Redmi K40 Ultra.
Now, the company is gearing up to launch their K50 series soon. The Redmi K50 series of smartphones will have the the vanilla K50 and K50 Pro under it. The smartphones have been in the leaks a lot recently. Moreover, the smartphones have appeared in another leak which reveals the key specifications of the upcoming devices. So, here is a quick rundown of the company’s upcoming K50 series specifications.

Redmi K50, K50 Pro Specifications (Leaked)
Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal a screenshot of a Weibo post. Going by this screenshot, the Redmi K50 will come with a 67W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the K50 Pro will ship with 120W fast charging support.

Furthermore, the brand new leak suggests that the K50 will come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the other hand, the K50 Pro will most likely come with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, on the processor front, the smartphones are expected to be powered by an upcoming flagship Qualcomm chipset. This octa-core flagship chipset is believed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 895/898 SoC. The name of the chipset has not been officially revealed as of now.

Moreover, the K40 series of smartphones feature flagship-grade hardware. We can definitely expect to see some improvements over this series in the upcoming Redmi K50 series. Additionally, the K50 series will give tough competition to other smartphones in the Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 segment. These include the Realme X7 Max, OnePlus 9R and more.
