  • While Xiaomi is one side prepping for its Redmi Note 10T launch, it is also working to broaden its budget series. We already know the company will launch its Redmi 10 series of smartphones in India soon. Moreover, several hints at the same online, the company has now teased the launch of the series in a recent tweet.

    Although Xiaomi is yet to make an official announcement on the same. Meanwhile, some key details of the upcoming Redmi 10 series have leaked online. A new Xiaomi smartphone has also visited the IMEI and FCC websites ahead of the launch. ow, noted leaker Kacper Skrzypek has shed some light on the camera details. Let’s take a look at the device’s specs, features, and other details leaked via the FCC and IMEI listings.

    Redmi 10 Leaks

    According to the tipster, the Redmi 10 will feature a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, 8MP Sony IMX355 wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. However, the front-camera details remain a mystery, for now. The series will replace the Redmi 9 lineup and is the company’s mid-range segment.

    On the other hand, the new smartphone also surfaced on the FCC website. It reveals that the device will run MIUI 12.5 out of the box. We can expect the device to run Android 11 out of the box. Additionally, the FCC listing also reveals that the Redmi 10 will launch in three storage variants. It will come in 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options. Other details confirmed include the various Wi-Fi and LTE bands the device would support.

    Redmi 10 launch date is anybody’s guess at the moment. In addition, it is calling it the “Redmi Revolution”. Although the tweet is pretty cryptic and doesn’t explicitly mention the moniker – #10on10 is a clear indication of the same. As new information comes in – we will update you more.
