Realme’s Narzo series is quite popular in the country with its affordable pricing and specifications. Earlier this year, the company launched its Narzo 30 series in multiple markets. Now, in a recent leak, rumours of Realme Narzo 50A in the works have surfaced online. Moreover, the new purported smartphone has already received multiple certifications. However, surprisingly it looks like the company has cancelled its direct successor – Narzo 40 series. They are bringing this new moniker to the market.

Realme Narzo 50A design renders
According to the renders, the phone will feature diagonal vertical stripes as found on the Narzo 30A. However, the upcoming offering will come with a dual-tone design. The back panel is equipped with a large square-shaped camera accommodating three lenses and a LED flash. Additionally, Realme Narzo 50A also houses a conventional fingerprint scanner which seems a bit weird.

Moreover, the power and volume rocker buttons are located on the right side of the device. Whereas there is a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grille at the bottom of the device. The Realme Narzo 50A has a waterdrop notch on the front and a slightly thicker chin. The report also adds that the Narzo 50A could come with an 8MP front-facing camera whereas on the rear it could feature a 13MP primary sensor.
Now, we can expect the upcoming smartphone could come with upgraded specifications. Realme Narzo 50A has already BIS and NBTC certifications hinting it might launch in both India and Thailand soon. Although there is not much information gathered from the certification. It looks like the listing mentions the Narzo 50A model launching in India will come in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB variants.

For those who are curious, historically, the number 4 is bad luck in China, which is probably why Chinese companies like Realme and OnePlus have avoided the number. Till now, Realme did not launch the Realme 4 series or the X4 series. Just like OnePlus jumped from OnePlus 3 to OnePlus 5.
