After OnePlus, Realme has also announced its plan to bring its own 150W UltraDart fast charging technology to the market. But unlike OnePlus, the brand has also revealed the smartphone it will come alongside. The new charging technology will debut alongside the Realme GT Neo 3 later this year. The company also claims you will be able to charge the 150W UltraDart fast charging from 0-50 per cent in just five minutes. However, it did not reveal the exact capacity.
The proprietary offering claims to be primarily on three distinct technologies. Namely, multi-boost charging pumps, a temperature management algorithm, and a new lithium battery. Alongside, Realme also claims it will be maintaining the thermal temperature below 43-degree Celsius. It will also be retaining 80 per cent of battery capacity even after completing over 1,000 charge cycles.

UltraDart Charging Architecture
It is designed to support charging powers between 100W and 200W. Realme says, it is the “world’s first charging architecture”. The brand has broadly worked on three aspects to ensure “ultra” fast charging while—presumably—ensuring users’ peace of mind. These are speed, safety, and battery life.

According to the company, it will use multi boost charge pumps to increase the charging current even as a temperature management algorithm helps keep the thermal temperature below 43°C. This would seemingly keep the temperature at an ideal level while charging without any potential safety hazards. Lastly, the battery—inside a phone like the Realme GT Neo 3—can retain 80 per cent capacity at 1000+ complete charge cycles.

In simpler words, the new tech will charge your phone faster without overheating and shortening its lifespan. This is something that will require thorough testing as and when the Realme GT Neo 3 becomes official. The company teased its launch by saying that the phone would be “coming soon” to the market.
