Realme 12 Pro Series To Arrive In India This Month

Realme has confirmed it will launch the Realme 12 Pro Series in India this month. The company posted a teaser on X (Formerly Twitter) with the “Gear Up For The Flagship Periscope Revolution” with the text “See you on XX January”.

Moreover, both phones will be available in a new Submarine Blue colour option, according to the teaser. A leak by tipster Subhanshu Ambhore has revealed the Realme 12 Pro Series launch date in India, which will be January 31st at 12 PM IST.

Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro 5G will be available in three storage variants: 8GB+128GB,8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, while Realme 12 Pro+ will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.

The 12 Pro will be available in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colours, while the 12 Pro+ will go on sale in Explorer Red, Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue.

Realme To Collaborate With Rolex For Special Edition

Another leak has revealed the company will collaborate with Rolex to unveil a special edition of the Realme 12 Pro series. This special variant will have a blue leather finish with golden accents on the back.

The company has also teased a collaboration with an international watchmaker, Ollivier Saveo, confirming this leak. The teaser image also has a January 28th date on the Rolex watch, which suggests the phone could arrive globally on that date.

Realme 12 Pro And 12 Pro+ Expected Specifications

According to the renders by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme 12 Pro series will have a vegan leather finish on the back with a quad camera setup and curved display.

Both phones will have 6.7-inch Full-HD+ curved OLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, they will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution.

The Realme 12 Pro will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while the Pro Plus will utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 with up to 16GB of RAM. Both are likely to run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box paired with up to 1TB of storage.

Realme 12 Pro Series Camera Specifications Teased

The Realme 12 Pro series will have a periscope lens for the first time. It will sport an Omnivision OV64 sensor with a 1/2-inch size supporting 3x optical and 6x sensor zoom.

The primary camera will use a Sony IMX890 lens with OIS support having up to 120x SuperZoom. Moreover, Realme has partnered with Snapdragon to offer features like raw domain architecture, heterogeneous computing and cinematic portraits.

The Realme 12 Pro will sport a 50-megapixel primary, 32-megapixel telephoto and 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens for optics. Moreover, this telephoto lens will offer 2x zoom capability, and the phone will have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter camera.

Similarly, the Realme 12 Pro+ will have a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

Both phones will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W SUPERVOOC charging. The Realme 12 Pro will weigh around 190 grams, while the 12 Pro+ has a weight of 196 grams.
