Qualcomm on Tuesday unveiled its new high-performance wireless networking technology, Wi-Fi 7, designed especially for home users. Its senior vice president and general manager, Nick Kucharewski, said they developed the Qualcomm Immersive Home Platform to enable high-performance connectivity in a cost-effective, low-profile form factor delivering the newest innovations in home networking.

The Wi-Fi 7 technology brings powerful new capabilities, which are evident when used with a tri-band system. This approach enables Wi-Fi mesh to deliver performance gains for both new and legacy devices. The introduction of Qualcomm Multi-Link Mesh is a breakthrough in home networking connectivity, claims the company.
