Big games like BGMI and CoD Mobile definitely rule over the mobile gaming community. However, there still are a bunch of folks who play ageing games like Pokemon Go. The game has garnered a dedicated audience in million over the years and these players have been very loyal to the game. Niantic rolled out a couple of valuable changes to the game during the initial days of the lockdown period. These changes included reducing the Pokestop interaction distance from 40 metres to 80 metres, which is exactly double the original value. Moreover, this allowed Pokemon Go players to enjoy the game right from the comfort of their homes, if there were nearby Pokestops. Players who could not venture out into the open because of the pandemic and lockdown were able to enjoy the game in this way. However, things have changed now and sadly, not for the best.
