Now, a cryptic tweet from Poco India’s head on X (Formerly Twitter) hinted at the Poco X6 series debut in the country. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming phones.
Poco X6 Series Launch Teased In India
Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, posted a message on X, “Happy Xmas Everyone! Santa is coming with a gift soon.” The post also included an image of Santa Claus riding on a mechanical reindeer with X highlighted in green.

The tweet hints at the launch of the Poco X6 series in India, which will include the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro. It is unclear which models will arrive first in the country.
The Poco X6 is likely to be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro, which will launch on January 4, 2024, in India. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro will likely be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi K70E.
X6 Series Specifications
The Poco X6 series in India will sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 will power the X6, while the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra could power the X6 Pro. Both phones will have up to 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
For optics, the Poco X6 will have a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the other hand, the X6 Pro could sport a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Both phones will have a 16-megapixel camera for taking selfies. The X6 will have a 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging, while the X6 Pro could have a 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging.
The Poco X6 series could debut in India by late January 2024 and is likely to have a price tag of less than Rs.30,000 in the country.
