POCO X4 GT which was launched last year in June is reportedly getting an update to Android 13-based MIUI 14. The handset debuted with Android 12-based MIUI 13 out-of-the-box and is now receiving the latest update. The update comes with Google’s January security patches, the latest firmware version as well as a bunch of new features, and more. This update will be first available to users enrolled in the Poco Pilot program.

POCO X4 GT: MIUI 14 Update
As per the Xiaomiui report, the MIUI 14 update is rolling out globally with the firmware version MIUI 14.0.1.0.TLOMIXM and January security patches. The update comes with the latest features and improvements such as “super” icons and widgets, revamped visual design and improvements to searches in the Settings menu, improved battery life and more. Customers can use the MIUI Downloader to gain access to the upgrade which is 709MB in size. The update will be made available widely if no bugs are found, as per the report.
To install the update, you can head over to the settings section and check for updates. If the update is not showing for you, we advise you to wait for the global rollout of the update as the update is now only available for users enrolled in POCO pilots. The latest update uses less memory and keeps being swift and responsive over much more extended periods. Additionally, the update features Super icons that give the Home screen a new look. Moreover, the home screen folders will highlight the apps you need most making them just one tap away from you.
