Along with the Oppo Reno8 series smartphones, Oppo has released a new Android tablet in China. The Oppo Pad Air is the company’s second tablet, and it is a budget tablet. The brand debuted in China’s tablet market in February with the launch of the Oppo Pad Air, and only a few months later, the company introduced the Pad Air, which is nearly half the price of the original Oppo Pad.

The Pad Air has a 2K display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 series chipset. The tablet lacks the high refresh rate screen as well as the huge battery seen in the Oppo Pad. This is still a very thin and light tablet.
The Pad Air costs CNY 1299 (about Rs 15,100) for the 4GB+64GB model and CNY 1699 (roughly Rs 19,800) for the 6GB+128GB model. The tablet is available in two colours: silver and grey. The same is now available for pre-booking in China.

The Oppo Pad Air is powered by a 7100mAh battery with 18W fast charging and PD protocol compatibility. There is an 8-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the side bezel when it comes to the camera section. Although there is no fingerprint scanner, it does support a face unlock system.
The Pad Air has a textured pattern on the back and a metal body in terms of design. The slate is 6.94mm thick and weighs 440 grams. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5.1, Type-C connector, ColorOS based on Android 12 OS, and a quad-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos are among the other features. Finally, the tablet comes with extra accessories that can be purchased separately, such as a magnetic keyboard and an Oppo Pencil stylus.
