Oppo Launches Its First Flip Foldable Phone: Details Here!

Oppo on Wednesday launched its first-ever flip-foldable smartphone ‘Find N2 Flip’ globally after introducing it in Chinese markets in December 2022. The Oppo Find N2 Flip is a direct competitor to Samsung’s Z Flip devices in that it’s a smartphone-size device that can fold down when you need it to be more compact.

Oppo claims to have the least visible crease in this phone — a big bone of contention in similar design phones — and the biggest cover display in a flip phone.

• The main display is a 6.80-inch AMOLED screen with a 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
• It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor with ultra-fast 5G connectivity.
• The screen measures 3.26 inches and offers six notifications.
• Control apps like Messenger, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp and other settings via the cover screen.
• It runs ColorOS 13 based on Android 13.
• Opt-in for a GIF, Bitmoji, or a sticker for greater personalization on the Always-On display. 
• It comes with a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W SUPERVOOC charging.
• It also has an IP rating for water resistance of IPX4, which roughly means it’s splashproof.
• Mid-fold range between 45º and 110º for waist-level dynamic angles.

The smartphone packs a 50-megapixel main camera that has Sony’s IMX890 sensor. There’s also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor. For Selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel camera with Sony’s IMX 709 sensor and there’s a wide-angle lens for better video calls.

The Find N2 Flip is available in two colours: Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. It weighs 191gm and is 7.45mm slim when opened.

The smartphone price in India is expected to be Rs. 71,190. This is 8 GB RAM / 256 GB internal storage base variant of the Find N2 Flip.
