OnePlus Watch 2 Launch Confirmed, Could Debut On February 26

OnePlus has teased the launch of the OnePlus Watch 2 but has not shared any concrete release date. However, tipster Max Jambor has revealed the watch will arrive on February 26 during the MWC (Mobile World Congress).

OnePlus is also hosting a contest on its community forums where it has asked people to guess the upcoming product, but the company only wants incorrect answers. This contest will run until 5 PM on February 26, which coincides with the date given by Jambor.

Watch 2 Expected Specifications

Based on previous leaks and rumours, the OnePlus Watch 2 will likely have a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display and run on Google’s Wear OS 4. This indicates the upcoming watch will be a massive upgrade over its predecessor, which used a proprietary OnePlus RTOS.

Google’s WearOS allows users to install various apps from the PlayStore and offers plenty of features compared to proprietary operating systems. Furthermore, the watch will use the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset paired with 1GB of RAM.
