OnePlus 12 Launch Date Revealed, Will Arrive On This Day

OnePlus is gearing up to release its next flagship, OnePlus 12, in China. The company has now officially confirmed the launch date for the OnePlus 12, and the phone will arrive next month. It is also planning to launch the OnePlus Ace 3 at the event, although there is no official confirmation yet.

OnePlus 12 Confirmed To Launch On December 4

OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 12 at an event on December 4. The launch date for the OnePlus 12 holds special significance for the company as it is OnePlus 10th Anniversary.

The event will start at 7 PM in Shenzen, where attendees can take a look at the smartphone during a Fireside Chat. Rumours suggest the OnePlus Ace 3 could also make its debut at the event.

OnePlus 12 Expected Specifications

The OnePlus 12 will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will have the Sony LYT-808 sensor. Furthermore, the phone will have a 1/2-inch 64-megapixel OV64B periscope lens from OmniVision with a 70mm focal length and 3x optical zoom.

It will also pack a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultrawide lens and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The OnePlus 12 will feature a new Oriental display from BOE with 2,600 nits of peak brightness and Display Mate A+ certification.

Furthermore, the phone will have an Oppo P1 chip for colour calibration, better image quality and lower power consumption. This will likely be a 6.82-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus 12 will run on Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. It will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
