Nothing recently confirmed it is working on a more affordable smartphone called the Nothing Phone (2a). This cut-down version of its flagship, the Nothing Phone (2), has leaked several times in the past, but this new leak showcases a significant change.

The new renders of the Nothing Phone (2a) reveal it will not have the Glyph interface and will have a massive change in design. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Nothing Phone (2a) To Have Vertical Camera Module
A report by SmartPrix in collaboration with tipster OnLeaks revealed the renders of the Nothing Phone (2a). The Phone (2a) will be the first phone from the company to ditch its iconic Glyph LED lights.

Furthermore, the phone will have a transparent back with a vertical camera module similar to the Nothing Phone (1). However, it is unlikely to include support for wireless charging since no coils are present.
The significant omission, however, remains the Glyph interface, which the company has been touting as a massive feature with its phones. It offered users a unique way to stay in touch with their device by lighting up to know about an incoming phone call or notification.

Moreover, the design also reveals the Nothing brand will be present on the left corner of the phone while there is certification on the right. In addition, the volume rocker and power button are present on the left of the device.
The Phone (2a) will feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 paired with 8GB of RAM.

On the back, there will be a 50-megapixel GN9 for the primary and a 50-megapixel JN1 for the ultrawide. There will be a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 for the selfie sensor.
The phone has also received NBTC certification, hinting at an imminent launch. It will be available in Black and White colours.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is likely to launch during an event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) on February 27. It could cost $400 (around Rs.33,000), making it cheaper than the Nothing Phone (2).
