Nothing Phone (2a) Confirmed To Launch On This Date In India

Nothing has confirmed it will launch the Nothing Phone (2a). The company recently posted a video where it shared the reasons and visions behind making an affordable smartphone.

The Phone (2a) will arrive next month with a fresh design and competitive pricing, offering most features of the flagship, Nothing Phone (2). Here is everything you need to know about the Nothing Phone (2a) launch date.

Nothing Phone (2a) Confirmed To Launch On March 5

Nothing has announced the launch date of the Phone (2a) and it will debut in India on March 5 at 11:30 GMT (5 PM IST). Carl Pei also suggested in a video that the Phone (2a) could be cheaper than the Nothing Phone (1).

Furthermore, the company also revealed the design sketches of the smartphones, which confirmed the presence of a transparent design and a vertical camera module. Designer Chris Weightman said the phone will have a fresh design and a reworked glyph interface.

The phone will go on sale via Flipkart in India, and currently, you can sign up on the official website to get a Rs.2,000 discount on the smartphone. Furthermore, if other people sign up with your referral code, you also get a chance to attend the launch event in Delhi on March 5, 2024, with one lucky winner getting a Phone (2a).

Nothing Phone (2a) Expected Specifications

Nothing Phone (2a) will sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor will power the phone paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

It will run on Nothing OS 2.5 out of the box based on Android 13 and will have 128GB storage. Furthermore, the phone will have Glyph lighting with Glyph controls, allowing users to customize it according to their preferences.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is likely to feature a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN9 sensor and a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie shooter.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will go on sale in Black and White colours. It is likely to cost $400 (around Rs.33,000) and will be more affordable than the Nothing Phone (2a)
