Nothing Chats Introduces iMessage Support For Android

Nothing has announced its new messaging app, Nothing Chats, which promises to fix the blue bubbles issue for Android users. The Nothing Chats app will bring support for iMessage on Android, bridging the divide between the two platforms. Moreover, it will be available starting November 17 in North America, the EU and other European countries.

Nothing Chats Brings Blue Bubbles In iMessage For Android

The new Nothing Chats app will bring most iMessage features for Android users, including blue bubbles support, group chats, live typing indicators, full-resolution media sharing and voice notes. Furthermore, the company will introduce features like read receipts, message reactions, and replies at a later date.

The Nothing Chats app is currently in the beta phase and uses Sunbird’s patented technology. The Chats app logs in to your Apple ID on its server of Mac Minis across North America and Europe to enable iMessage compatibility. This way, you can enjoy the coveted blue bubbles without owning or buying an Apple device.

Nothing Chats Will Be Exclusive To Nothing Phone (2)

The app created in collaboration with Sunbird Messaging will debut on November 17 exclusively for Nothing Phone (2) users. It will initially be available in the US, Canada, UK and EU. Furthermore, the company has promised to bring the app to more regions and is working on expanding it to a broader audience.

Furthermore, it claims that all iMessage texts sent through the Nothing Chats will be end-to-end encrypted, meaning neither Sunbird nor Nothing can read or access them. It does not store the messages on Sunbird’s servers, and they are only available on the user’s device.

You just need to download the Nothing Chats from the Google Play Store and log in to your Apple ID to enjoy sending and receiving texts on iMessage. Moreover, the Chats app supports RCS texts, so you can also send normal SMS to your other friends.
