Motorola is gearing up for an exciting year with the announcement of its 2024 smartphone lineup. Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, reportedly hinted at Motorola’s next 2024 smartphone model. Many Android companies are introducing high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips in their smartphones. There is no official news, but perhaps Motorola will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in the next lineup.
In his Weibo post, Chen Jin shared insights on Motorola’s roadmap for next year. The Lenovo-owned company has a new Razr model on its 2024 product list. The new generation of Razr phones has been confirmed to feature a new design and AI integration. Also, Motorola plans to present large-scale voice model capabilities to its flagship X-series smartphones next year.

Insights Of Motorola’s Lineup
New insights came after Chen Jin posted on Weibo. The 2024 lineup includes a new version of the Razr model, the report adds. The next Razr smartphone will have a redesigned look and integrate artificial intelligence. Additionally, Motorola plans to integrate extensive voice model functionality into its flagship X-series smartphones next year.

According to the report, other products planned for 2024 include the new Moto S series and Moto G series smartphones with some improvements. The post states that Motorola plans to launch the entire product next year. Chen Jing claims that the Moto Razr series has made welcome progress in China and even in the global market in 2023. He said the company is recalibrating its product plans and cadence to take into account two major opportunities and challenges in the mobile industry: foldable screens and large-scale AI.

This year, Motorola has cut back on model releases for China and other global markets. The company introduced Motorola Edge 40 Neo equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 in the Indian market in September. In China, the company released the Moto G34 5G with Snapdragon 695 SoC earlier this month. Also, Motorola Edge 2023, powered by Dimensity 7030 SoC, was launched in October.
