Motorola seems to be gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India this month, called the Moto G73 5G. The leaked reports suggest that the Moto G73 5G launch could take place on March 10 in India. The Moto G73 5G has already debuted globally back in January of this year and the India variant will likely share similar specifications.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma on Twitter, the new Motorola smartphone will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC and dual cameras on the back. Like most other Motorola 5G smartphones, the upcoming Moto G73 5G will reportedly get 13 5G band support. The Moto G73 5G will be the successor to last year’s Moto G72. The company is yet to announce the launch of G73 for the Indian market.

Specifications
If the smartphone is the same as its European variant, then it will be available in two color options namely Midnight Blue and Lucent White. The device will feature a 6.5-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The switching of the display to LCD is a downgrade from the existing G72 smartphone.
The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Underneath, it will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset which is built on a 6nm process. The chipset pairs with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone will run on Android 13 out of the box.
Motorola also allows to expansion of the storage up to 1TB. On the optics front, it will sport a dual-rear camera setup with an integrated LED flash on the module.

The camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. The sensor is accompanied by an 8-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The display will house the 16-megapixel selfie camera inside the centred punch-hole. A large 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging backs the smartphone. On the biometrics front, the device has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button and supports face unlock.
Moreover, connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, 5G, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. The device is equipped with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner present in the power button.

Moto retails the smartphone for 310 Pounds in the UK which converts to Rs 30,000. However, the pricing of the smartphone in India will be significantly lower and is likely to be priced under the Rs 20,000 segment.
