Motorola launches the Moto G100 5G with flagship-level specifications. It is now official in European and Latin American markets. However, the smartphone is actually a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge S that launched in China earlier this year. In addition, it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and triple cameras at the back with a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor to enable AR functionalities.

Moto G100 Price
It has a starting price of 499.99 euros ( ₹42,700 approx) in select Latin America and European markets. The smartphone comes in three color options of Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey. However, there’s no word on when Motorola will launch the Moto G100 5G in other countries.

Moto G100 5G Specifications
In terms of specs, it features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with MyUI on top and supports dual-SIM cards.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Moreover, it pairs with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Furthermore, optics-wise, Moto G100 5G sports a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-MP primary sensor, a 2-MP depth sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, and a ToF sensor. For selfies, there are two punch-hole cameras which are a 16-MP primary sensor and an 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android 11 out-of-the-box. Moto G100 5G also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Furthermore, it will also come with Motorola’s newly launched ‘Ready For’ connectivity suite. Similar to Samsung DeX, this feature lets you connect the phone to an external device like a TV or monitor so you can cast video calls, play video games, and more.
