Motorola is all set to release its next flagship device in India. Motorola will launch Moto Edge X30, which is the first phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, in India. According to 91Mobiles, the Moto Edge X30 is all set to arrive in India by January 2022. If not January last week, the phone will arrive by the first of February.

Moto Edge X30: Specifications
The Moto Edge X30 launch version comes with Android 12 out-of-the-box, with MYUI 3.0 on top. It carries a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) POLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The phone gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage.

Coming to optics, the Moto Edge X30 offers a triple rear camera setup packed by a 50-megapixel OmniVision’s OV50A40 primary sensor. There is also a 50-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Motorola phone has a 60-megapixel camera at the front. Moto Edge X30 connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port. Moreover, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There’s a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging.

Price and Availability
Moto Edge X30 was launched in China at RMB 3,199 (around Rs. 38,000) for the 8GB/128GB variant, the RMB 3399 (approx Rs 40,300) for the 8GB/256GB model, and RMB 3,599 (around Rs 42,700) for the 12GB/256GB version. Whereas, the special edition Moto Edge X30 is priced at RMB 3,999 (approx Rs. 47,500) for the12GB/256GB variant. The phone is offered in Blue and White colours. In India, the smartphone company is expected to launch the device by January 2022. Although, the exact pricing of the handset in India is still not revealed.
