Moto Edge 50 Fusion Confirmed To Launch In India With These Specs

Motorola has teased the launch of the Moto Edge 50 Fusion in India. It will be the second phone in the Edge 50 series after the Motorola Edge 50 Pro debut last month. The phone will be the cheapest phone in the lineup and will sport the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Here is everything you need to know about the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion To Go On Sale Via Flipkart In India

According to a post by Motorola India on X (Formerly Twitter), the Edge 50 Fusion will arrive in India with “the segment’s best camera” and “the segment’s best design.” Furthermore, the phone will go on sale via Flipkart and be available in blue.

Interestingly, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is available in two chipset variants: Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (in Europe and the Middle East) and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (in Latin America). It is unclear which variant will debut in India; however, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 version seems more likely.

The company will also introduce its first pair of TWS, the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+, in the country. These earbuds claim to offer Bose-tuned audio for the first time in their segment.

Expected Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sports a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ curved pOLED display. Furthermore, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 variant has a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 variant boasts a 144Hz refresh rate.

The phone ships with HelloUI, based on Android 14, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 32-megapixel ultrawide angle lens for optics.

You also get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging and an IP68 rating.

The phone will be available in India in Fusion Forest Blue, Fusion Hot Pink and Fusion Marshmallow Blue colours. Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will compete against phones like the Nothing Phone (2a), OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Poco X6 Pro with a price tag of around Rs.25,000.
