  • Xiaomi launched their Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro on Augsut 26, 2021, in India. The laptops went official during the company’s Smarter Living 2022 event. The laptops run on Windows 10 right out of the box and are upgradable to Windows 11 as well. Both the laptops come in the Lustrous Grey colour option in the country. In addition, the laptops are powered by Intel latest 11th Gen processors and ship with Intel Iris Xe graphics. This particular graphics card is slightly better in performance than the Nvidia MX350 GPU as well, making it one of the most efficient integrated GPUs out there.

    The Mi NoteBook Ultra price in India is set at Rs. 59,999 for the Intel Core i5 chipset and 8GB RAM variant. Meanwhile, the Mi NoteBook Pro price in India is set at Rs. 56,999 for the model with the same configuration.

    When it comes to the availability of the two laptops, they will go on sale via Mi.com, Amazon, and Mi Home stores at 12PM. There are offers on the laptops as well via Amazon. The e-commerce platform is offering an instant discount of Rs. 4,500 on purchase via HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards. In addition, the offer extends to EMI options as well. Mi.com has Play and Win coupons which offers a discount of Rs. 750 on the laptops.

    Starting off with the display, Mi NoteBook Ultra comes with a big 15.6-inch Mi-Truelife+ display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. We can also see a fast 90Hz refresh rate on the display alongside a peak brightness of 300 nits.

    On the processor front, the NoteBook Ultra is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-11370H processor. Further, this chipset pairs up with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The CPU and GPU pair up with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD. When it comes to the design of the laptop, it is based on Series 6 Aluminium build.

    The Mi NoteBook Ultra also packs all the essential connectivity options. These include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port, USB Type-C port and two USB Type-A ports. Additionally, the laptop also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the audio front, the laptop packs a dual 2W speaker setup with DTS audio processing support. Moving to the battery backup, the laptop claims to deliver up to 12 hours with its 70Whr battery capacity.

    Meanwhile, the Mi NoteBook Pro comes with a smaller 14-inch 2.5K display. Additionally, the display comes with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels alongside a 16:10 aspect ratio. However, there is no fast refresh rate on this variant and we can see a similar peak brightness of 300 nits.

    Under the hood, the laptop carries the same 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. In addition, the processor pairs up with Iris Xe graphics as well. Moreover, the GPU and CPU are coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. So, there is not SSD here and users get HDD instead. The laptop gets a similar connectivity and speaker setup as the Ultra model. The laptop packs a smaller 56Whr battery which claims to deliver up to 11 hours on a single charge.
