From today, Realme has officially hiked the prices of some smartphones in India. Moreover, the price in India has hiked by up to ₹1,500 for some smartphones. The price hike comes as other brands like Redmi announced that they will raise the price tags of their offerings in India due to global component shortages. For example, Realme C21 (2021) has received an ₹300 price hike. Whereas, the increase is ₹500 for the RealmeC21 and C25s. However, for Realme 8 series, have received ₹1,500 price hikes.

According to the leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav, a couple of new smartphones with the new rise in cost for the smartphones. The list of devices consists of a C-series of devices and the 8 series of devices. Let’s take a look at the pricing hike for the devices:
C-series Price Hikes
According to the tipster, the C11 2021 model now retails for ₹7,299 up f 2GB/32GB variant. The 4GB/64GB variant of the Realme C11 2021 model now retails for ₹8,799 up from ₹300.
Whereas, the Realme C21 with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage now retails for ₹8,999 up to ₹500. The 4GB variant with 64GB of storage retails for ₹9,999 up to ₹500. Meanwhile, the Realme C25s, with the MediaTek Helio G85 will retail for ₹10,99 for the 4GB RAM 64GB storage variant, up to ₹500. The 4GB+128GB variant also gets a ₹500 hike to ₹11,999.

Realme 8 series Price Hikes
Due to the recent shortage, the price has gone up to ₹15,999 from ₹14,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The pricing for the 6GB + 128GB option of the Realme 8 has also increased to ₹16,999 from ₹15,499. Further, the top-of-the-line 8GB + 128GB variant of the Realme 8 has hiked to ₹17,999 from Rs. 16,499.
Similarly, the Realme 8 5G variants have also gone up with a price hike of ₹1,500. Its’ price in India starts at ₹15,499 from ₹13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB version. The 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants of the Realme 8 5G have been hiked to ₹16,499 from ₹14,999 and ₹18,499 from ₹16,999, respectively.
