Samsung is all set to launch its next-generation of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S21 series, on January 14th. Now, just ahead of the official launch, the company slashed the prices of the current Galaxy S20 series in India. The brand is bringing discounts of over Rs 15,000 in the country for the S20 lineup. The new prices are currently only available at offline retail stores. However, it can go live at online stores as well.

As per a report by 91mobiles, the company is bringing discounts for the series in offline stores.
- Galaxy S20 was launched at Rs 59,499 for 8GB RAM + 128GB option. After the price cut, the handset is available for purchase at Rs 49,999.
- Galaxy S20 Plus model India’s price is Rs 56,999 after a massive discount of Rs 15,991. The smartphone launched in India for Rs 72,990.
- Galaxy S21 Ultra is now available at a discount price of Rs 76,999, reflecting a price cut of Rs 10,000. Earlier, it was selling for Rs 86,999.

Interestingly, the report notes that the price cut is only meant for the offline segment and there are no changes on the online channels. Moreover, the report also suggests the discounts are only available till January 31st. However, judging by the previous price cuts, one should expect these prices to last indefinitely.

It’s likely that the company will also bring these offers to online stores. Once the Galaxy S21 series is available for purchase, we can expect an extension of these discount prices.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus price in India is Rs 54,999 on the official Samsung website. This price tag makes the handset the most affordable on the Samsung e-store compared to other e-commerce sites as well as offline channels.
