Earlier this year, Realme unveiled their Realme C25 smartphone in India. Now, the company is reportedly working towards launching another device under the C25 series. The Realme C25Y has now surfaced online and will be launching as a toned-down version of the vanilla C25 pretty soon in the country.
91Mobiles has now tipped the India launch details of the device in an exclusive leak. According to the 91Mobiles report, the device will be launching in the country as early as this September end. Realme has recently been on a roll, launching multiple devices across the various price segments.
Further, the brand has recently completed their 1+5+T strategy with the launch of their very first tablet, the Realme Pad. In addition, the company has also launched two new devices, namely the Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i, in the country. However, these devices are packed with performance-based specifications and features. Now, we are expecting the brand to launch their budget Realme C25Y in India soon.

Although nothing is currently know when it comes to the upcoming smartphone’s specifications and price, we can make a couple of assumptions. When it comes to the Realme C25Y price in India, we can expect it to be set at under the Rs. 10,000 price segment in India. Since the Realme C25 price in India is set at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant, we can expect to see a lower price on the C25Y as it is supposed to be a toned-down variant.
Realme C25Y Specifications (Expected)
The Realme C25 come swith a 6.5-inch HD+ display and we expect the C25Y to come with a similar display. Moreover, being a budget friendly device, we will be seeing a standard 60Hz and nothing too fancy there. Under the hood, the C25 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. Now, on the processor front, we can expect to see the Realme C25Y use something a bit lighter like the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC.

Moving to optics, the Realme C25 comes with a triple rear camera setup. Now, we may be seeing a dual rear camera setup on the C25Y, as it is a toned-down version. However, it may even retain the triple rear camera setup and use inferior sensors. To recall, the C25 setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and B&W shots, respectively.

When it comes to battery, the Realme C25Y can be expected to feature a 5000mAh battery like the C25. However, it may also come with a slightly inferior capacity. Further, it is expected to pack a similar 10W fast charging support. On the software front, the budget friendly device is expected to run on Android 11 OS with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top.
