Realme’s GT Neo 2 has been a rumour mill favourite for quite some time now. The device has appeared across multiple certification websites. Moreover, the flagship smartphone has also appeared in exclusive design renders by Digit.in recently. Now, the company seems to have hinted at the Realme GT Neo 2 launch date via their official Weibo handle.
Noted tipster Techno Ankit has spotted the Weibo post made by the company. Further, Ankit also suspects that this may actually be the company hinting at the official launch date reveal set for next week. The smartphone will be launching as a successor to the Realme GT Neo. The GT Neo went official in China back in March, 2021. However, the device never made it to the Indian market.

On the other hand, the GT Neo 2 has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. This hints at an imminent India launch of the device. The smartphone will most likely launch in China initially but later on, launch in India. Without any further ado, here is what to expect from the upcoming GT series device by Realme.
Realme GT Neo 2: What To Expect?
When it comes to the Realme GT Neo 2 specs, it is expected to come with a big 6.62-inch Full-HD+ display. In addition, the smartphone’s display will also reportedly come with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. When it comes to the software, the flagship device will be running on Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC which will be offering 5G connectivity to users. The octa-core flagship chipset will be coupled with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Moving to optics, the Realme GT Neo 2 will most likely arrive with a triple rear camera setup. Now, the setup is expected to include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor. Further, we can also expect to see a 2-megapixel sensor in the setup for macro shots. On the front, the flagship smartphone is expected to come with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the battery front, the device will most likely be fueled by a big 5000mAh batter. In addition, this battery capacity on the device will reportedly pair up with 65W fast charging support. Unfortunately, this is all that can be said about the upcoming device at the moment. We will soon get to know the official specs and pricing of the device if the launch date is finally unveiled next week.
