With IPL 2022 first match beginning today, Reliance Jio has announced new recharge plans for cricket lovers. With millions of users around the country ready to tune in daily to watch their favourite teams – Jio brings new prepaid plans. But this new plan is mainly targeted at the fans of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament. Teleco has also added the OTT subscription to one of the existing annual prepaid plans it already offers. Here are the details of Jio’s new recharge plans:

Jio New Prepaid Recharge Plan Benefits
Reliance Jio has collaborated with Disney+ Hotstar to launch cricket plans that offer free subscriptions to Disney+ Hotstar. According to the telecom operator, the newly launched Rs. 555 prepaid recharge plan and the pre-existing Rs. 2,999 Jio prepaid recharge plans both now come with a one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile. Apart from the bundled subscription, both plans also have different benefits.
With respect to Rs. 555 plan, it offers up to 55GB of data and has a validity of 55 days. It should be noted that voice calls and SMS features are not covered under this plan. The plan also offers a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.

Whereas, the Rs. 2,999 Jio prepaid recharge plan comes bundled with unlimited data (2.5GB per day). It also comes along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS messages per day. The plan has a validity of 365 days. Moreover, it offers a complimentary subscription to Jio apps. The new addition to the already existing plan is the one-year Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. Although this is claiming to be a limited period offer.
The Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription enables them to access live sports matches, along with Hotstar specials. You can recharge your Jio number with Rs. 555 and Rs. 2,999 prepaid plans directly through the MyJio app or the Jio website. The recharge plans are also available through various third-party apps and sites.

On the other hand, JioFiber users on the Rs 999 and above plan can watch all matches on their TV screens through the Disney+ Hotstar app on JioSTB at no extra cost. Moreover, the Jio Cricket Play Along (JCPA) activity is returning for IPL 2022 with bigger rewards for participants. The game is free-to-play and now also supports emoji stickers in a special in-game chat bar.
