iQOO Z8x Specifications Confirmed Ahead Of Launch

iQOO will launch the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x smartphones on August 31st in China. The company has confirmed the specifications of the iQOO Z8x before its release, giving us details of what to expect from the phone. The company has revealed the chipset and battery details of the smartphone.

The iQOO Z8x will be the successor to the iQOO Z7x, released earlier this year in China. The phone will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It has an AnTuTu score of 6,00,000 points, which suits a budget smartphone. The company claims the processor offers a 25 percent improvement in CPU performance and a 30 percent improvement in GPU-intensive tasks.

This could be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, further expandable up to 1 TB via microSD card. On the other hand, the iQOO Z8 will have the Dimensity 8200 chipset. Other rumored phone specifications include a 6.64-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel with a 120HZ refresh rate. It will run on FunTouch OS 13 on top of Android 13.

Furthermore, the company has confirmed the phone will boast a dual-camera setup on the back. It could feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor complimented with a 2-megapixel portrait lens. On the front, there will be an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

The Chinese giant has also confirmed the phone will pack a 6,000mAh battery similar to the Z7x. This allows it to offer up to 20 hours of short video playback and browsing time of up to 32 hours. You can also quickly charge the device thanks to the 44W fast charger included in the box. The phone could also have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It could be 9.1mm slim and weigh around 200 grams.
