iQOO is gearing up to release the Z7 Pro, a new mid-range smartphone in India. The company has created a reputation for creating performance-oriented smartphones for gamers. The Z7 Pro will continue this trend as the company claims it will be the fastest smartphone in its segment apart from being the slimmest and the lightest. iQOO Z7 Pro Launch and Pricing
The iQOO Z7 Pro will be released in India on August 31st at 12 PM IST. It will join two other devices in the Z7 lineup: the iQOO Z7 5G and the iQOO Z7s 5G. The company had recently released the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, a performance-oriented smartphone in the sub 35K price segment.

According to teasers released by the company, the Z7 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs.25,000 and will be available exclusively on Amazon and iQOO’s website. iQOO claims the Z7 Pro will be the segment’s fastest, slimmest, and lightest smartphone. Additional bank discounts and offers will further bring down the price, making the phone a lucrative option for consumers.
iQOO Z7 Pro Expected Specifications
The Z7 Pro will feature a premium design with a curved display and a glass back with a gradient finish. The phone will sport a 6.78-inch Full-HD curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will have a peak brightness of 1300 nits and a pixel density of 388 ppi.

The phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor based on a 4nm architecture paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It has the highest AnTuTu score in the segment of 7,28,764 compared to other devices in the sub-25k price segment. The octa-core chipset has a clock speed of 2.8 GHz and features the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU.
The Z7 Pro will have three variants: 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage. It will run on FunTouch OS 13 on top of Android 13 out-of-the-box.
iQOO Z7 Pro Camera and Charging
For optics, the phone will have a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS, complimented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The primary sensor uses Samsung’s ISOCELL GW3 and has f/1.79 aperture, whereas the 2-megapixel camera has an aperture of f/2.4.There is a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies with a f/2.45 aperture.

The primary camera can shoot videos at resolutions up to 4K at 30 FPS, whereas the front camera’s video recording can record up to 1080p. It also has a circular LED flash called the Aura Light to improve visibility in low-light conditions.
The phone will pack a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. It is just 7.36mm thick and weighs 175 grams. The phone will have an in-display fingerprint and will be available in Lagoon Black and Graphite Matte colours.
