Recently, iQOO unveiled its iQOO 8 series of smartphones in China. The series consisted of two models, the vanilla iQOO 8 and the iQOO 8 Pro. However, things are working differently in India as the series is not yet launched in India. But today, iQOO 8 Legend (Indian variant) was spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification website, which reports about its launch soon.

AS per the reports, the iQOO 8 Legend (with the moniker I2017) got the TUV Rheinland certification. Moreover, the device has been listed alongside the Chinese iQOO 8 (model number V2136A). This indicates that the Indian iQOO 8 Legend could be nothing but a rebooted iQOO 8 version from China.

On the other hand, this leaves us with the question as to which smartphone will fill the space of the iQOO 8 moniker in India. There is a high probability that the brand might rename one of its Neo series smartphones and launch it in India as the iQOO 8. Yet, it is uncertain for now.

Furthermore, the iQOO 8 Legend will come with a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 8 Legend will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. At the front, the device will flaunt a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The iQOO 8 Legend will also support fast charging.
