Apple is seemingly planning to organize a launch event soon. After its successful launch in September 2021 with iPhone 13 series, the company is all prepped up for another event. We know that the iPhone SE 3 may launch sometime soon. But this time around leaks suggests we can expect it to launch early next month. In addition, the launch event could also see the launch of a new iPad this year. Here’s everything you need to know:

Apple’s New ‘Affordable’ iPhone SE 3 Might Launch on This Date
According to Bloomberg, the new iPhone will be the first update to the iPhone SE model in two years. It will also feature 5G network capabilities, an improved camera and a faster processor. Apple will host a virtual event on March 8, 2022. Where the company is likely to introduce the iPhone SE 3 5G alongside an iPad Air.
Furthermore, the report also suggests a possible new Mac with Apple Silicon and iOS 15.4 updates. Face ID support for masks, Universal Control, and new emoji are among the new features available in iOS 15.4, which is currently in developer and public beta testing. In terms of specifications, the iPhone SE 2022 or iPhone SE 3 is rumoured to add 5G-support.

We may still see a compact design featuring the same 4.7-inch screen on iPhone SE 3. But with the A15 Bionic chipset under the hood that powers the iPhone 13 series. On the other hand, the latest-gen iPad Air models are also said to add 5G support. The design might remain the same but we may see newer Apple-designed chipsets.
Furthermore, Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apple has launched the iPad models with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It could be possible that the SE 3 gets a similar treatment. However, it is unknown if the budget iPhone will also come equipped with Face ID.
Apple iPhone SE 2022, New iPad: What We Know So Far
Early reports have suggested that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 apparently has three model numbers. These are A2595, A2783, and A2784. As mentioned before, the three models have been sent to India for testing purposes. The upcoming device will actually be a budget iPhone. Moving to the iPads, one of them with two model numbers have been sent for testing. It comes with the model numbers A2588 and A2589. Again, the official moniker has not been unveiled. However, going by previous leaks, we can assume that this is the iPad Air Refresh.
