By registering here, users can sign up for the beta software program. Your compatible iPhone will then receive the latest update notification. If not, go to Settings > General > Software Update and select “Download and Install” to manually check for the update.

It’s important to remember that the iOS 15 public beta version may have bugs and some issues. Before you install the beta version, you should create a backup of your device’s data. It’s also not a good idea to install the beta update on your primary smartphone.

    Major iOS 15 Features

Apple is supposed to launch the stable version of iOS 15 in September. In June, the iPhone OS was introduced at the WWDC 2021. Apple also hinted at some of the most exciting iOS 15 features that will be available later this year on iPhone models.

FaceTime is getting a number of great features, including spatial audio and the ability to schedule calls. FaceTime will also be available on Google Android as well as Microsoft Windows devices via a browser. FaceTime’s spatial audio feature is meant to make it “more natural, comfortable, and lifelike.”

Notifications will also face significant changes in iOS 15. Apple is changing the look of notifications to make them more visible, including making app icons larger. Notification Summary is a new approach that allows you to group together many notifications and show them in a single tile rather than a long string.

The systemwide DND mode will now display an ‘away’ status, letting senders know that the recipient will not be notified right away. In the event of an emergency, there is also an option to override this. Finally, users will be able to prioritize which notifications they get for a certain selection of apps using “Focus” profiles.
