The company has confirmed the launch date of Honor X9a. The smartphone will launch officially in Malaysia at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST) on January 4 next year. In just a few weeks more, the handset will be officially released. It will be the third Honor X9 series phone to be launched by the company, after the Honor X9 and Honor X9 5G.
The upcoming smartphone will most likely feature a curved OLED display and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Tips suggest the upcoming device will be the rebranded version of the Honor X40 for global markets. Honor X9a Specifications (Expected)
The handset may come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED curved-edge display and a centrally aligned punch-hole for the selfie camera. Additionally, the display will feature full-HD+ support and a 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution. It is likely to come with an under-display fingerprint scanner for security. The smartphone will run on Android 12, with the company’s Magic UI running on top.
Moreover, the device will feature a Snapdragon 695 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Regarding camera configuration, the handset will most likely feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro snapper and an LED flash on the rear. Additionally, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. The handset may house a 5,100mAh battery along with 40W wired charging support.
