For some time now, Google is developing their Pixel Notepad, Google’s foldable phone. The firm hasn’t yet mentioned it. So it doesn’t appear to launch before the end of this year as was first anticipated. There’s a chance we’ll catch a look at it during the launch announcement for the Pixel 7 series later this autumn. Sources have exclusively unearthed a Google foldable phone patent while we wait for further information on the Pixel foldable.
On June 2021, the patent was submitted to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation). It was only published this morning. The Pixel foldable will resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold in terms of appearance, according to the patent drawings.

Patent of Google’s foldable phone
As previously said, the design is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The bezels around the screen of the Google foldable appear to be very substantial.
However, it folds in half like a notebook. There will be a crease in the centre, as with other foldable with similar designs, which is challenging to eliminate.
In contrast, the recently released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a selfie camera integrated into the screen. But the Google foldable phone on the patent looks to have the selfie camera mounted in the top bezel.
“A camera has an aperture situated in a bezel of the second assembly that surrounds the flexible continuous display“, states the patent description. We don’t know how to fold the phone yet. Although, there should be a cover screen for typical smartphone functions.

Google Pixel Foldable Specifications
According to rumours, the Google Pixel Notepad will have a 5.8-inch outside the display. Making it more prominent and shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Its aspect ratio will be larger than the Galaxy Z Fold.
A Tensor chip and a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary camera are there. The phone might have a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide-angle lens and two 8MP IMX355 selfie cameras. It also can include a Tensor chipset. Soon, we should get more information regarding the foldable.
Speculations
One possibility is that the Google foldable phone’s primary camera array will have a horizontal stripe. Just like the Pixel 6 series. The Pixel foldable phone has been the subject of several renderings. The patent design leaked before, so this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about it.
