Google Pixel 9a expected launch date is March 19 for Global and March 20 for India. Ahead of the launch, tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted 9a renders on X. The new phone has a similar design to what we’ve seen before. It has a flat back and two camera lenses. It is also expected to come in four bright colours: Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain. These colours were shown in the latest pictures of the phone.

The Google Pixel 9a was seen in a picture with some water drops on it, showing that it has a good protection rating. It is expected to have an IP68 rating. So, it means this is safe from dust and can handle being in water. Also, the pictures used to promote the Pixel 9a show that the phone will come with special features that will be added over time.
The Pixel 9a smartphone may have a main camera with 48MP and a 13MP camera for wide-angle photos. For selfies and videos, it is expected to have a 13MP front camera. The phone should also come with a big 5,100 mAh battery, supporting fast charging with 23W wired and 7.5W wireless options.
Regarding its screen, the Pixel 9a is likely to feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. This screen will support HDR10+ for better colours, have a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and be very bright, reaching up to 2,700 nits. The phone will run on the Google Tensor G4 processor, with 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB.
