Google recently added three new travel tools to its search engine you might like. It will show COVID-19 related warnings and advisories for your destination. Google revealed that “travel restrictions” and “where to visit,” are the search terms user search a lot these days. That is why they have updated these features and will help you to plan a safe trip. 

Firstly, Explore tool has improved. It will now show more filter in destinations, travel advisory or restrictions, and much more information that will help make your trip safe to travel. In addition, Google has also made some updates to Google Maps on the desktop site to help with tour planning.

Latest Travel Guidance

Google gave a detailed description of the new travel tools in its blog post. When travellers search for travel information like flights, hotels or places they can go when they reach the destination, it will help these particular travellers in giving COVID-19 related travel alerts like whether or not the destination demands quarantine when they arrive, or travellers need to provide proof of vaccination.

Furthermore, searchers can get travel restrictions for target destination via email updates. The traveller has to allow the option to “Receive an email if this guidance changes.”

Selecting this option will allow people to receive notifications when limitations are added or reduced. These updates will be based on the country you visit with state-specific information available in the United States.

Henceforth, Google has refreshed Explore to help people discover their next travel destination. Google users who book flights via Explore Map may be familiar with the term that shows flight prices for different places.

Users will see more destinations on the map. Smaller cities and national parks added for a better experience. The travellers who clueless, where they want to go. They can filter destinations for interests like outdoors, beaches, or skiing.

For the people who love to travel by roadways: Now Google Maps for desktop will make road trips easier. It will give recommendations for stops on your way to your destination.
